Andrew Jones
Pastor
Our Pastor the Rev Dr Andrew Jones, who has been with us for almost 35 years, and for many of those years has also been involved in running Churches Together in Beckenham. He is known to be a fan of old maps, bad puns and Dad jokes. Andrew has also been a regular visitor to the Albanian Baptist Union over the last few years.
Eleanor Jones
Deacon
Eleanor is Andrew’s wife and has been with him at Avenue since 1987. Eleanor is also a primary school teacher.
Jackie Farr-Rose
Church Secretary
Jackie is our Church Secretary, as well as bring a deacon and helping lead the Sunday School. During the week she runs a local printing business with her husband Ray.
Jonathan Spink
Deacon
As well as being a Deacon, Jonathan helps lead the Sunday School and is part of the house group. During the week he works for an overseas aid agency
Joanne Spink
Deacon
Joanne enjoys preparing crafts for children’s work in the church and works at a local primary school.
Claire Frost
Deacon
Claire is part of the Bible study house group. During the week she works in retail and is a moderator of a local Facebook group.
Steve King
Deacon / Treasurer
Steve is a deacon and treasurer at the church. During the week he works in the construction industry.
Liz King
Deacon / Youth Leader
As well as running the Youth Group with Steve, Liz is also a deacon and runs the church’s 0-3s group. During the week Liz is Director of a local construction company.
